But being such a common New Year’s resolution, chances are you’ve already tried to accomplish this with no success.

Do you want to make this the year where you can finally cross out weight loss as a New Year’s resolution? Then read on.

“I Want to, but I Don’t Have Time”

We know, we’ve heard it all before. People want to lose weight, but life always gets in the way. Family, friends, coworkers, delicious junk food, Netflix, and obnoxious people at the gym.

Instead of having you do battle with them all over again this year as well, would it not be better to opt for a faster, more permanent option? If yes, then here’s the solution for you.

Weight Loss with Liposuction

Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure in which the surgeon proceeds to extract the extra fat of the areas that bother you. As the surgical procedure that it is, liposuction involves cuts in the form of incisions around your body.

Said incisions do leave a scar, but don’t worry, our surgeons are expert professionals that will conceal it as much as they can. In the end, you’ll be able to sport a renewed, leaner body way before the time for making next New Year’s resolutions arrives.

Liposuction Procedure for Weight Loss

Before anything, a pre-evaluation consultation at the office of one of our surgeons will be your first step to take. There, they’ll inform you of the viability of the surgery according to your wants and expectations.

Once approved, a date will be set for the procedure and the logistics of getting into the procedure.

For the procedure, the surgeon makes incisions close to the selected areas. Through them, they proceed to insert a thin tube, known as a cannula, into your body. The cannula is set on so it can start vacuuming the fat out of the area. The surgeon is careful not to suck out all the fat, rather leaving some to contour into an attractive shape. Your doctor takes out the cannula once done and moves to vacuum the next area.

The procedure takes around two to four hours, depending on its extent. Once concluded, they’ll supply you with compression garments to assist your healing before returning home.

The complete recovery from the procedure takes six to eight weeks. You will not shower for the first five days until advised to. Once some bruising subsides, you’ll be able to contemplate your new figure in all its glory.
