FUE In Detail
For an FUE procedure, we shave the back of the scalp (occipital area) and extract hair from here with micromotors. Our experts anaesthetise the operation areas so that the patient experiences zero discomfort throughout the procedures in FUE.
After the extraction, our team counts and lines up follicles in a special solution. Meanwhile, our expert administers the anaesthesia to the recipient area. Then the expert doctor opens tiny slots for follicles that we call canals. The number of canals is proportionate to the number of grafts, of course. After the canals are open, the medical team joins in and together they insert follicles in the canals one by one. As the follicles are a delicate tissue, they require careful handling, and that’s why this phase usually takes the longest.
After FUE
When the operation is over, the team will give you instructions about how you should take care of your hair. Around 6 months after the surgery, the follicles will start popping out from where we put them. After approximately 12 to 18 months, you will see that most of the implanted follicles are active.
