Procedures for Hair Transplantation

There are two main methods of hair transplantation nowadays. They are FUE and DHI.

• FUE is the abbreviation for follicular unit extraction
• DHI is the abbreviation for direct hair implantation. 

Let’s talk about FUE a bit.

FUE Operation in Turkey

In an FUE operation, we remove donor follicles from the donor area and transplant them to your thinning areas one by one. To do this, we use an electrical device that goes by the name of the micromotor. A micromotor has a tip called the punch, and this part spins rapidly and extracts individual follicles one by one. This way, you do not get a big scar after the operation.

Thanks to the anaesthetics we use, you do not experience any discomfort during the operation. 

After we extract the follicles, our expert doctors open your canals. The follicles we extracted the go to the open canals. After the canals are open, our medical team starts implanting individual grafts one by one. The operation usually takes six to eight hours, and patients can go back to where they are staying right after the operation. The next day, we take patients in to remove the bandaging. At this point, you can leave the country. However, we recommend to our patients to stay for around seven days for washes and tracking the progress.
